Serhii Deineko visited the front line and the positions of border guards in the most threatening and difficult areas.

In particular, the Head of the border guard agency visited Bakhmut, Lyman and Kupiansk directions in the areas held by the border guards of the "Pomsta" and "Staliy Kordon" brigades of the Offensive Guard.

The Head of the State Border Guard Service spoke to the servicemen, inspected their living conditions and drew attention to the issue of comprehensive provision of the units.

He also discussed the situation on the front line and the enemy's actions with the heads of the border guard units. The servicemen noted that the occupiers did not stop their assault operations, constantly shelling the positions of Ukrainian defenders with various types of weapons, including the use of aircraft. Nevertheless, the border guards are bravely holding their positions and repelling the invaders.

Particular attention was paid to increasing the capabilities of unmanned aerial vehicle units and the effective use of UAVs for reconnaissance and destruction of enemy equipment and personnel.

In the border guard units, the Head of the State Border Guard Service presented awards to defenders and on the occasion of International Women's Day, he recognised female servicemen serving in brigade-type border guard units.
